The site was nice, but the emphasis was a bit more horse-centric than I was looking for, so I turned to the second site I found farmersdatingsite.com. I was pleasantly surprised. The site was clean and well organized, servicing singles from 18 to 99. I liked the fresh profiles right on the home page as well as the search form for easy searching. The site was easy to navigate without a lot of extraneous text such as I found on equestriancupid.com. The only back story I want is the one on my potential date as focused as that might sound.

However, that love is not coupled with a love of horses (give me a minute, I’ll get there) and equestriancupid.com was more geared toward horse riders and lovers. Both sites were great but I preferred the cleaner look of farmersdatingsite.com with the freshest profiles right on the home page along with the search form.

The sign up was easy; I just needed a username, a password, a birth date and an email address. I also liked that I could sign up for free, although paid members get greater access. Then I got to fill out my profile where I could upload pictures of myself as well as post a brief description of who I am and what I was looking for in a date. I was honest about my country credentials which at this point are none but I’ve read a lot and I’m more than willing to learn.
